Privacy policy
This policy explains what Food Photo Boost processes, why it is processed, and how to contact us with privacy questions.
1. Scope
Food Photo Boost provides AI-assisted food photo enhancement for restaurants, cafes, food brands, creators, and marketers. This privacy policy applies to foodphotoboost.com, app.foodphotoboost.com, and related product workflows.
Food Photo Boost is a separate product surface from Menu Builder. It is not modeled as a restaurant tenant, and photo workspaces, credits, projects, and subscriptions are handled as Food Photo Boost product data.
2. Information we process
We process the information needed to operate the service, protect accounts, generate photo outputs, provide support, and handle billing or usage records.
- Account information such as name, email address, login credentials, and authentication metadata.
- Uploaded source photos, prompts, selected presets, generated image outputs, project metadata, downloads, and related processing state.
- Billing, subscription, credit, entitlement, and usage records needed to provide paid plans and account limits.
- Technical and operational data such as request logs, device or browser information, diagnostics, abuse-prevention signals, and error reports.
- Pseudonymous marketing analytics such as page views, referral sources, approximate country or timezone, and CTA or pricing interactions when privacy-friendly analytics is enabled.
- Support and account communications that you send to us by email or through product workflows.
3. How we use information
We use personal data, photos, prompts, generated outputs, and usage records only as needed to provide and improve Food Photo Boost.
- Create and secure accounts, sign users in, and manage product access.
- Upload, store, process, generate, preview, and download food photo outputs.
- Track credits, plan limits, billing state, refunds, and usage history.
- Maintain platform reliability, troubleshoot operational issues, and detect misuse.
- Understand aggregate marketing performance and product funnel behavior.
- Respond to support requests and communicate about product changes or service issues.
4. AI-assisted photo processing
When you request an AI-assisted food photo enhancement, the source photo, prompt, selected preset, and related context may be sent to external AI providers or infrastructure providers on our behalf.
You are responsible for reviewing generated outputs before publishing or using them in menus, delivery listings, websites, ads, packaging, or social channels. Do not submit secrets, payment data, health data, or sensitive personal data in prompts or image uploads.
5. Sharing and subprocessors
We share data only with service providers that help us run Food Photo Boost, such as hosting, authentication, storage, payment, analytics, email, support, and AI-processing providers.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to respond to valid legal requests, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of Food Photo Boost, our users, or the public.
We do not sell personal information.
6. Cookies and local storage
Food Photo Boost uses essential cookies and similar storage needed to keep the product working, including authentication or session state, security checks, billing handoff state, and saved display preferences.
The marketing site may use first-party privacy-friendly analytics configured without advertising cookies, persistent browser identifiers, localStorage identifiers, cross-site tracking, or retargeting. We use aggregate reporting to understand page views, funnels, approximate country or timezone, and CTA or pricing interactions.
7. Retention
We retain account, billing, usage, source photo, generated image, and project data for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, satisfy legal or operational obligations, and support account recovery or billing disputes.
If an account, project, source photo, or generated image is removed, limited backup, logging, or compliance records may remain for a reasonable period before deletion cycles complete.
8. Your choices
You can choose which photos and prompts to submit, review generated outputs before using them, cancel paid plans where available, and contact support for account, correction, deletion, or privacy requests.
If you use Food Photo Boost for a restaurant, client, delivery brand, or other organization, you are responsible for making sure you have the rights and permissions needed for the photos and related content you upload.
9. International processing
Our providers may process data in more than one country depending on their infrastructure. When we rely on third-party processors, we expect them to use appropriate security and data protection measures for the services they provide.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy as Food Photo Boost evolves. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of the page and publish the updated version here.
