Refund policy
This policy explains when Food Photo Boost may issue a refund, when fees are non-refundable, and how AI photo usage can reduce or prevent a refund where law allows.
1. Scope
This refund policy applies to subscriptions, credit packs, one-time purchases, trials, and AI-assisted food photo generation or enhancement features sold or made available by Food Photo Boost.
If a purchase is processed by a third-party payment provider, refund processing or timing may also depend on that provider. Mandatory buyer rights, payment-provider rules, and local law will still apply where required.
2. Default refund rule
Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise, Food Photo Boost fees, subscriptions, credit packs, and consumed credits are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Subscriptions are billed in advance. You may cancel at any time to stop future renewals, but cancellation does not automatically create a refund for the current billing period.
Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable consumer rights or any refund rights that cannot legally be excluded.
3. When we may approve a refund
We may review refund requests submitted within 14 days of the charge on a case-by-case basis. Submission of a request does not guarantee approval.
- Duplicate or accidental duplicate charges.
- A clear billing error that caused an incorrect amount to be charged.
- A material technical failure or provisioning issue that we cannot resolve within a reasonable time.
- A first-time annual purchase or annual renewal requested promptly and before material credit usage in that billing period.
4. AI photo usage and deductions
AI-assisted photo enhancement creates immediate variable costs for Food Photo Boost. Those costs may arise as soon as generation is requested, even if you later decide not to keep, download, or publish an output.
If credits, generations, downloads, or other AI-assisted features have been used on the account, we reserve the right, to the maximum extent permitted by law, to deny a refund entirely or reduce the refund amount by the reasonable value of usage already consumed and any non-recoverable third-party processing costs.
When a generation fails because of a provider or system error, we may restore the affected credit or review the charge. That does not mean all completed generations are refundable.
5. Usually non-refundable situations
Without limiting the default rule above, refunds are usually not available in the following situations unless required by law.
- Change-of-mind requests after meaningful credit usage, photo generation, downloads, or exported results.
- Unused credits or unused time remaining in a monthly, yearly, trial, promotional, or lifetime-style billing period after cancellation.
- Dissatisfaction with an AI output after credits were consumed, unless there was a confirmed technical failure covered by our review process.
- Accounts suspended or terminated for abuse, fraud, non-payment, infringement, or violation of the terms and conditions.
6. How to request a refund
Send your request to the support address listed on this page and include the account email, charge date, plan or credit purchase, and the reason for the request.
If your request relates to a technical issue, include enough detail for us to investigate, such as the affected prompt, project, generation time, screenshots, and the result you received.
7. Processing and effect of refunds
If a refund is approved, we may issue a full refund or a partial refund depending on usage, credits consumed, AI processing already performed, and any non-recoverable costs already incurred.
Approved refunds are generally returned to the original payment method. The timing and method of return may also depend on the payment provider, bank, or card network involved.
If we issue a refund, we may suspend or remove access to the refunded plan, credits, features, projects, generated images, or related account benefits.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this refund policy as pricing, billing flows, AI costs, credit rules, and legal requirements evolve. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of the page and publish the current version here.
